Charles Tobin


Charles Stuart Tobin was a Canadian professional ice hockey player. Tobin played 175 games in various professional and amateur leagues, including the Pacific Coast Hockey Association . Amongst the PCHA teams he played for were the New Westminster Royals, Portland Rosebuds, Seattle Metropolitans, Vancouver Millionaires and Victoria Cougars.

Tobin was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. His brother was Bill Tobin, who would later be the general manager and partowner of the Chicago Black Hawks. Tobin died in 1924 at St. Vincents Hospital in Portland, Oregon after illness due to ulcers of the stomach.
